Pressure Cooked /Stove Top Chili
- 1 bag [16oz/1lbs] kidney beans light or dark rinse well and remove all debris
- 8 cups of hot water in pressure cooker
- 1 tbsp of grease
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 3 tbsp of Juanita’s regular seasoning
- 1 tsp of Juanita’s spicy seasoning
- 1 tsp of chili powder
Set pressure cooker for 45 minutes
While beans are cooking in pressure cooker you should be browning ground beef
3 to 4 pounds of ground beef [70/30]. Cooked into bite size pieces [no seasoning]

5 cups of hot water, placed on stove at low heat until needed, [no seasoning yet until
You taste your beans that were cooked in pressure cooker
Using the stove top now, you need a 16qt pot to finish cooking in.
Meanwhile your beans are about to come to its 45 minutes pressure cooking time.
Remove your ground meat/salsa turn off and remove from stove. Drain & rinse. Now pour in your 16qt pot, then after pressure is released off your pressure
Pour the beans and juice into your 16 qt pot with the ground meat and salsa as well.
- 2 tbsp of chili powder
- ¼ Tbsp of cumin
- 1 tsp of mustard
- 1 tsp of Juanita’s spicy seasoning
- 3 Tbsp of Juanita’s regular seasoning
1 ¼ hour to finish cooking down at low/medium heat 140- 160 degrees
I always add some cheese in my bowl to give me that last hit of salt!
